Creation Stories with John Rice & Leroy “Jock” Hill

Join us for a two day event at Dorian Parker Centre with Leroy “Jock” Hill share the Haudenosaunee and John Rice, the Anishinaabe Creation Story.

• Hohahes Leroy “Jock” Hill is of the Cayuga Nation and Bear Clan. He is a Faithkeeper and Sub-Chief. He is a sanctioned speaker of The Great Law of Peace and Gaihwiyo. He is a speaker of 3 Haudenosaunee languages and one of the Wampum/Record Keepers for the Haudenosaunee and he will share the Haudenosaunee Creation Story on Wednesday, May 23rd 2024 at 10:00am-4:00pm.
• John Rice is a humorist, traditional storyteller and knowledge keeper, Zahgausgai zhinkaazo, Mukwa Dodemim, is an Ojibwa/Anishinabeninni and a 3rd Degree member of the Three Fires Midewiwin Society from WFN. John will share the Anishinaabe Creation Story on  Monday, June 10, 2024 at 10:00am-4:00pm.

Feel free to bring your own chairs for comfort as seating is limited.
