Nokomis Giizis Gathering

Join us for our monthly Nokomis engagement happening Friday, Nov 15th,, 2024, from 12-3pm, that will offer both healing and connection as we lean into our culture, traditions, and Nokomis Giizis Teachings.
We will gather at HEART Retreat in Oro Medonte.
This month we lean into the energy of the Freezing Moon – Gshkadin Dbik Giizis.
(Freezing Moon) November is when our ancestors are closest to us, and we share in feast and stories of our loved ones. All of creation prepares for the winter by strengthening our spirits and bodies.
This Nokomis engagement location will be at HEART Retreat where we will explore the freezing moon!
We had some cancellations this month therefore we decided to postpone this month’s teachings until next month therefore we will discuss the falling leaves as well before freezing moon.

Throughout the year, we will gather on the land each month to deepen our connection to the land and self.
Each month our adventures will include traditional moon teaching, wellness teachings, periodically a physical adventure or a hands-on creation.
