Indigenous Family Teachings – Day 2

Join Nookmis Mary Elliott for three days of cultural teachings creativity, connection and reflection.

Each gathering will offer a welcoming space for Indigenous families to learn together and strengthen their connection to culture and community.

September 28 – Our Sprit’s Journey: Life Stage teachings

September 29 – Nibi (Water) Teachings: Creativity and Connection. Creating birch bowls, for feast plates and copper necklace activity.

September 30 – Cedar bath teachings and Sacred Fire to honour National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Feast to follow.

These gatherings are open to Indigenous families residing in Simcoe County, Muskoka and Parry Sound. Families may register for one, two or all three days.
