Hunter Safety/PAL Course in partnership with Barrie Native Friendship Center

Come and join Mamaway’s Land Based Healing coordinator in partnership with the Barrie Native Friendship Center, on June 8th and 9th, 2026 for a course for community to learn about Hunter Safety and Fire arms safety. You will learn essential , legal and ethical practices for hunting. You will also learn wildlife identification, conservation principles and hunting techniques. Hunter safety happens on June 8th 2026 from 8am – 5 pm. Firearms Safety will be June 9th, 2026 from 8 am – 6 pm.  Both courses happening at BNFC.
