Kahontakwas Diane Longboat, B.A, B.Ed, M.Ed is a member of the Turtle Clan, Mohawk Nation at Six Nations Grand River Territory, Canada and a citizen of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. She is the founder of Soul of the Mother, a healing and teaching lodge on the shores of the Grand River.
Diane’s work is situated at the intersection of health, education and traditional First Nations knowledge systems.
She is a ceremonial leader, traditional teacher, and healer.
She works with spirit brought by creation and messages brought by ancestors.
Healing through listening, creating the ceremony and listen to the community members.
Help them regain balance in spirit, mind, body and in their hearts.
Sharing the knowledge with community members, to provide clarity on their journey.
She travels amongst First Nations and globally, to carry the Sacred Fire for the transformational healing of self, community and the Earth.
