DESCRIPTION:Working Together – Wiijinokiiwag Collaboration Project was created and released in September 2021 to mainstream organizations who support and empower Indigenous Peoples within their organizations. This 1.5 Day Virtual Program is designed to bring awareness to life promotion\, awareness\, education and collaboration that supports mainstream organizations to grow Indigenous Cultural Safety Practices. We focus on empowering\, building and growing connections & resources to ensure that we have safer environments for everyone. \nThis collaboration project is run in Seasonal Session from 9:15 am- 4:15 pm Day One and from 9:15 am- 12:15 noon Day Two with Expansion Projects\, Community Collaboration Circles and Teaching Events offered additionally throughout the year to further the work of creating strong relationships of support between organization and services for the Indigenous Peoples in our community. \nHeather McIntyre is the Project Coordinator and Programs Facilitation Lead and can be contacted at: hmcintyre@banac.on.ca to enquire about participating in this ground breaking community programming! \nPlease register using the Alchemer Survey Link Below!

SUMMARY:Working Together- Wiijinokiiwag Day One- Winter Program
DESCRIPTION:Working Together – Wiijinokiiwag Collaboration Project was created and released in September 2021 to mainstream organizations who support and empower Indigenous Peoples within their organizations. This 1.5 Day Virtual Program is designed to bring awareness to life promotion\, awareness\, education and collaboration that supports mainstream organizations to grow Indigenous Cultural Safety Practices. We focus on empowering\, building and growing connections & resources to ensure that we have safer environments for everyone. \nThis collaboration project is run in Seasonal Session from 9:15 am- 4:15 pm Day One and from 9:15 am- 12:15 noon Day Two with Expansion Projects\, Community Collaboration Circles and Teaching Events offered additionally throughout the year to further the work of creating strong relationships of support between organization and services for the Indigenous Peoples in our community. \nHeather McIntyre is the Project Coordinator and Programs Facilitation Lead and can be contacted at: hmcintyre@banac.on.ca to enquire about participating in this ground breaking community programming! \nPlease fill out the Alchemer Program survey link below! \n  \n
