DESCRIPTION:September 29\,  2026 \nJoin Nookmis Mary Elliott for three days of cultural teachings creativity\, connection and reflection. \nEach gathering will offer a welcoming space for Indigenous families to learn together and strengthen their connection to culture and community. \nSeptember 28 – Our Sprit’s Journey: Life Stage teachings \nSeptember 29 – Nibi (Water) Teachings: Creativity and Connection. Creating birch bowls\, for feast plates and copper necklace activity. \nSeptember 30 – Cedar bath teachings and Sacred Fire to honour National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Feast to follow. \nThese gatherings are open to Indigenous families residing in Simcoe County\, Muskoka and Parry Sound.
